I'm not sure why I have Babylonian ships on the brain, but could you imagine having to use your own rowing power to get somewhere? There is something fascinating about that kind of determination. The determination to keep pushing through anything in order to get what you want.
This is done in color pencil... and shhhh... don't tell Paris, but I used a 4x4 square since I don't cut straight lines so well.
it looks like a seahorse ready for battle judging by the slanted eye, I like that you have those yellow rays of sunlight, almost like some mystical power...or something...it's the early morning and I'm still asleep...
