Still Little Stitching

Wow, hello Wednesday!  I admit last week was very busy with other things and that meant my sewing was neglected, although I did miss it!

I'll make up for that by joining in on this month's Friday Night Sew-in!  This Friday I will take care of the pups and then hold myself up in my sewing room with a good movie or two and lots of hot tea!!  I can't wait!!

It's not to late to join us if you are in need of sewing time too.  And, everyone who participates is in the running for cool prizes -- see you there!!

-IN PROGRESS--

Crewel Spring Flowers

I have started on the yellow flowers and am still enjoying each and every stitch!  Once this one is done, I will only have two flowers left to go!!

X Marks the Spot

I moved this quilt to my desk and am looking forward to start the quilting.  I have an idea of how I want to quilt... we will see if I go with my plan.  This will get the lion share of my attention during the Friday Night Sew-in.

--ON PAUSE--

Star Struck
Star quilt-a-long by Melissa at Happy Quilting.  I think I will pick this up again this weekend.
Katie Fiber Art
I have an idea on how to make the dirt in this one a stronger feature.  Might give it a go this weekend as well.

I am looking froward to getting back to this one, and almost picked it back up yesterday, but need to be disciplined and finish up some of the other things I have oh so close to done.

Big Blue

Still waiting for one last sashing row to be cut out and attached.

Still thinking about putting a border on this one as well.
You Can Sew-a-thon!!

You haven't heard of it??... check it out here or read about our first project (Strawberry Pincushion).

Your projects are all coming along nicely, and that big blue certainly is big, even without batting! The doggie pic is priceless, those two are adorable! Good luck on your spoonflower entry, it's simply whimsical!

Your crewel embroidery is just so beautiful. I'm always so impressed by embroidery, since I'm terrible at it myself. : )

I voted for your Spoonflower entry - it's so adorable! Thanks for linking up to WIP Wednesday!
