Midweek Project Check-in (WIP)

--ONGOING PROJECTS--

Flourishing Garden (king sized)
I finished putting this top together -- hurrah!

I am thinking about the backing and have purchased my batting and another container of pins.  I feel like this one is moving along nicely!

Crewel Spring Flowers

The nice weather over the last week has had me looking for every excuse to spend every moment possible outside.  This is a nice portable project that has allowed me to enjoy every drop of sunshine.

I finished a third flower and started the leaves of the fourth.  This isn't the fastest work, but it's oh so satisfying.  I am enjoying learning about each type of stitch and the bold deep colors keep me coming back for more!

--EVERYTHING ELSE--
I haven't touched any other projects between now and last Wednesday... unless dirt in the the garden counts ;)
This Week's Work in Progress (WiP) Stats
Last WiP Wednesday Total: 6
New Projects: 0
Finished Projects: 0
Total WiP's: 6 (everything is about the same as it has been for a few weeks now)

One must absorb beauty to make beauty! Enjoy the outside while you can!

this is just the needle point I love, flowers and bright colors. such a lovely project. i worry that the nice it gets the less time I will spend at the sewing machine and more time outside in the garden...but not a bad problem to have ;)

very pretty hand stitching! I bet with the birds chirping it is soothing.

Hello Christie! Those flowers are so beautiful and it must be nice to make them now and then between the quilting!
I'm so happy we have found each others and W.i.P will always remind us!
Have a lovely day!
Love Teje

Those crewel flowers are so beautiful and impressive! Great job! Thanks for linking up to WIP Wednesday. : )

I love the crewel work. I think I've said before it brings back neat memories. I can relate to the 'having done/touched nothing creative since last Wednesday.' I think I am pushing the two week mark on that front. Sometimes we just need to give our brains a rest.
Thank you for the sweet birthday wishes. They are much appreciated.
