Wednesday WIP {A Fresh Start}

It's been awhile since I organized my thoughts around sewing.  Here's to a fresh start and lots of sewing success in the new year!

--IN PROGRESS--

Star Struck -- star quilt-a-long by Melissa at Happy Quilting

I am still standing at one block, but making progress on cutting out additional stars.  Still undecided about how big this one will be, but have about 2 1/2 weeks to finish it up.  I am working with vintage sheets and mocha flannel for this one... so soft!!

I am still in the sketching/planning phase, but will have more shortly!

You can still join the challenge if you like...  details are here at Sew La Vie.

It's a challenge to make a clutch using lots and lots of notions.  Called "Naughty Notions," because they pile up and hiding in every nook and cranny of my sewing room.

Laughing Leaves with Frieda Anderson

Can't wait to roll up my sleeves and dig back in!  You can also check out what I learned about using fusible in an art quilt!

Still no deadline for this one, but I am sure it will be an awesome winter project and just the right thing to pick up after all the crazy holiday sewing!

Ooh I love the idea of that naughty notions bag! Would join in if I hadn't promised myself no starting anything new until 2 WIPs are finished!

Good luck with all your crafty endeavours, your list is longer than mine!

I am so envious of your quilting skills. I'm just learning, but I'm totally addicted. Can't wait to see how you progress with these.

I'm seeing lists and thinking I should make a list too....I might feel more productive with one if I can see things being crossed off!
