Work In Progress Wednesday!

--NEW--

I spilled the beans yesterday about the new sewing machine that is gracing my sewing table!  It was slow going last week and over the weekend prior to getting this new guy.

I also told you about the "for fun" work art show we put on last week.  It was a blast!!  Here is a snap of the display I put together for my things.

--ONGOING--

Strawberries and More ... or maybe Flourishing Garden

This is the king size spread that I am making for my own bed.  And it's the only project that has seen any real effort over the last two weeks.  It's going to take plenty of time to wrap this one up, but I am enjoying the challenge of all the piecing and the reflecting time while I sew!

It's one of those great projects because I don't really have to think a whole lot as I go along.  Here are some of the assembled units

I am currently assembling the 16 patch blocks.  I am using the same design as I did for Tribal.  Can't wait to see how it looks with these girly fabrics and polka dots!

I am also at that stage where I look at the randomness required for the pattern and am having serious doubts.  I just have to keep reminding myself that the same thing happened when I was making Tribal.  I must keep pushing through.  I have about 5 more panels to assemble... then iron all 18 of them.  Then cut them into triangles.  I'll keep you posted!!

Bottled Rainbows
I still don't have all my solids for this project, but I am going to get started anyway.  I think by Friday I will be shifting my attention to this one for the Sew-in.  Can't wait!

--BACKBURNER--

Katie Fiber Art - didn't budge here

X Marks the Spot - sadly no progress, but I think this one will work itself out quickly once I cut the remaining pieces.  I haven't been in a cutting mood.
Tulip Table Runner - no progress this week

Creweling Spring Flowers - no progress this week

This Week's Work in Progress (WiP) Stats
Last WiP Wednesday Total: 6
